Several years ago, as we were setting up our house in Charlotte, North Carolina, we wanted to bring a touch of character and comfort to our new home in a new country.
As a first generation Indian-American couple with blended interests in art, design and interior spaces, it was important that it felt like our own creative, calming abode. We searched high and low for artistically designed sheets at an affordable price point, but couldn’t find the combination of quality, beauty and affordability we wanted on the shelf.
So, years later we did the only thing we thought would solve our problem: we decided to start our own bed linen line.
Mayberry Home is about making beautiful sheets with the best quality, sustainably produced cotton out there. It also is about creating fabrics and colors that evoke a sense of home no matter where you are in the world.
We took no shortcuts in this journey. From personally selecting the materials to craftmen who would make our products to aiming for some of the highest quality certifications and social commitments from day one - no stone unturned.

We set out to make our sheets cozy enough to transport you while you sleep and vibrant enough to inspire you when you wake up.
Like when we weave the rich pigments of a sunrise or the calming ripples of a lake with the geometric patterns of the mountains into our sheets. Some designs even have origins in some home-grown art works!
By blending fabrics, cultures, histories and art, our sheets are designed to be cheerful, sophisticated, inspiring, and inviting all at once. We hope these array of global designs and themes will fit in everyone’s home anywhere in the world.

When we began searching for the perfect fabric, we knew it had to be something special. Searching for the perfect balance between smooth, silky, and fresh, it was important that the sheets could be comfortably used all year round and still reflect individual style.
And we set out to try different weaves and fibres and weaving techniques and finally found what we were looking for: an all-season sateen weave that is buttery soft yet light enough for balmy nights.
Our sheets are made with 400 threadcount single-ply long-staple organic cotton. Single-ply meaning no manipulation of thread-count. In fabric and yarn talk, this is pretty much the gold-standard for organic cotton bedding.
Our bedding is also held to the strictest standards of environmental and social responsibility, from day one - something that takes years for other brands to achieve.
